Timrod Park has 14 lighted tennis courts, seven pickleball courts, picnic areas, a playground, a gazebo, an amphitheater, two rain gardens, and nature trails, which are both paved and unpaved.

Lucas Park is smaller but offers 12 acres of nature trails, picnic areas, and gardens.

Jeffries Creek park sits on a large 55-acre lot. If you are looking for a rusting setting with a strong wilderness feel, this is the park for you. It boasts a heavily wooded, 1/2 mile trail, yet caters those who’d rather stay out of the woods by making room for playgrounds as well.

Northside Park sits on seven acres with two lighted baseball fields, a concession stand, and a playground area.

Southpark is a 3.5-acre park which offers a playground, picnic tables, and pavilion. There is a softball field, skating path, basketball court, softball field, and two tennis courts.

Levy Park, pronounced “Lee-Vee” is a 13.6-acre park with a lighted softball field, youth activity center, a community center for older people, a picnic and playground, two pavilions, eight basketball goals, tennis courts, and a football field.

For the patriotic traveler, Independence Day or Memorial Day is a great time to spend an afternoon at Veteran’s Park. This park was dedicated on September 11, 2008, to former and active U.S. military personnel. The three columned obelisks that welcome you is an ideal place to pose for a picture.
Maple Park offers a relaxing day of catch or pickup softball or basketball.
