Mustang Island, TX

Located on the Texas Gulf Coast, the island is 30 minutes over the JFK Causeway from Corpus Christi. That’s right, no cars allowed on the island. You get around mostly on bikes, by foot, or horse taxis. The little island is famous for their fudge, horses, and bikes. This little island off the coast of northeast Florida is only 13 miles around. Amelia Island is located about 30 miles from Jacksonville, and you can get there by crossing the Intracoastal Waterway. This small island is off of the Eastern end of Long Island and is less than 100 miles from New York City. If you’ve been to the Hamptons, Shelter Island is a quiet escape from the busy New York vacation destination. This island was made for nature lovers. It’s surrounded by beautiful beaches, wildflowers, and one of the richest Nature Preserves with miles of hiking.
